Institutional presentation
El Centro de Estudios de Prevención, Tratamiento, Investigación y de Salud (CEPTIS); es una organización peruana privada sin fines de lucro, constituida por un equipo interdisciplinario de profesionales del campo de las ciencias sociales, la educación y la salud. Fue creado con la finalidad de diseñar y ejecutar programas y actividades estratégicas diversas, orientadas a favorecer la salud, la educación y el desarrollo integral de niños(as), adolescentes, jóvenes, familias y otros actores sociales en el ámbito nacional. CEPTIS es una institución inscrita en los Registros Públicos de Lima y Región Callao, en el registro de instituciones no gubernamentales de desarrollo receptoras de Cooperación Técnica APCI, el Ministerio de la Mujer y Población Vulnerables, el Ministerio de Salud y el Ministerio de Educación.

Objective of the centre/ services
El Objetivo de CEPTIS es la de contribuir al desarrollo integral de niños, niñas, adolescentes, jóvenes y otros actores sociales a través del fomento de la educación, en un marco de equidad de género, igualdad de oportunidades, derechos humanos, ciudadanía y democracia, previniendo integralmente diversos riesgos psicosociales, tales como: uso indebido de drogas, violencia familiar, embarazos no deseados, infecciones de transmisión sexual, sida, maltrato y violencia contra niños y adolescentes, entre otros; sustentando su labor en la promoción de conductas saludables, factores de protección y buscando reducir los factores de riesgo.
