In the case of Prevention tools, once the bibliographic search was carried out, the instruments found were grouped into four categories: Non-specific individual risk factors, Specific factors, Family factors and Severity of consumption. The final result consists of 69 instruments reviewed.

In the case of the Treatment tools, a Compendium of instruments was obtained with a total of 65 instruments reviewed, 19 in the area of Detection of cases (screening, interview and self-efficacy), 24 in the area of consumption characteristics (consumption pattern, level of dependence, craving and abstinence, precipitators of consumption and expectations on consumption) and 22 in the area of associated problems (family area, quality of life, comorbidity, violence and work area).

Associated operational objectives

0.1 - Establish the necessary operational bases to ensure the quality and coherence of the work to be performed and the necessary coordination and participation of all partners.
0.2 - Have adequate baseline information to: provide specificity to the contents and the actions planned in each component; meet initial expectations of each partner in relation to its participation in COPOLAD; and facilitate the programme evaluation.
2.1 - Assess existing needs in DDR, to define specific final contents of foreseen activities under Component 2, adjusting them according to different groups of countries.
2.6 - Maintain a project-supported initiative, which ensures the availability of planning and evaluation tools, in a way that becomes self-sustaining beyond the duration of the programme.

Results

In the database that constitutes the Compendium in each of the areas an identification was made as well as description for each tool taking into account its objective, the factors that it measures, the authors and the year of publication. Also the psychometric characteristics (reliability and validity) were identified and described for each of the instruments like the number of reagents that constitute it, the context of application, the population to which it is applied, the availability of the resource and the bibliographical references that give an account of its relevance.

Indicators

Developed and maintained a project-supported initiative, which ensures the availability of planning and evaluation tools, included in Paso@Paso (Step by Step), in a way that becomes self-sustaining beyond the duration of the programme. Including: 1) Development of the functionality: final design of the electronic architecture, validation and monitoring of functions; 2) Implementation and validation of the operating system; 3) 3 face-to face courses.
