Description

Abstract

CIC assesses the intention to consume alcohol and other substances, through the assessments of individuals about their intention to buy drugs and occasional / habitual use. For this, seven items of dichotomous response are used

Psychometric characteristics

Through the analysis of the dimensionality of the test through common factorial analysis of the principal axes iterated with varimax rotation, a one-dimensional factorial structure was found. Thus, the only isolated factor explained 36.61% of the total variance. Also, although Cronbach's alpha (.66), is below the recommended, it is satisfactory considering the small number of items that make up the scale

No. of items
It consists of seven items that are answered in a dichotomous way
