Description

Abstract

CID assesses knowledge about alcohol and synthetic drugs and detects false beliefs associated with use in a differentiated way. To do this, it uses a total of 20 items that are answered on a Likert scale with three response options

Psychometric characteristics

For the scale of information on alcohol, a common factorial analysis of iterated main axes with varimax rotation was carried out, with the factorial structure being one-dimensional, which explains 19.5% of the total variance. Likewise, Cronbach's alpha was .50. For the scale of information on synthetic drugs, an analysis was carried out on the factorial structure of the questionnaire, also performing a common factor analysis of iterated main axes with varimax rotation, resulting again in a one-dimensional factorial structure, which explains 30.1% of the total variance with a Cronbach alpha of .74

No. of items
It consists of 20 items with three answer alternatives and six graphic scales on the perception of drug use by peers of the same age range. In turn, two subscales were established that assess information about alcohol and drugs
Duration
10 min
Way of administration
  • Individual and collective
  • Paper
Way of qualification

Through the scores an indicative measure of the degree of knowledge about the consumption of substances and detection of false beliefs is obtained

Application context
Clinic / School
Population
Adolescents
