Description

Abstract

ESADOC is an instrument for measuring the adolescent's attitude towards the use of other drugs through three factors, these are: attitudinal disposition towards the use and consumption of other drugs, perception of satisfaction and the risk implicit in the use of drugs . To do this, 13 items are used on a Likert-type scale with five response options

Psychometric characteristics

The three factors that make up the scale explain 59.33% of the variance, as well as adequate values of test-retest reliability (r> .4, p <.01). However, in this scale one of the items (1) showed higher saturation values in a component that does not correspond to the original

No. of items
It consists of 13 items that are answered on a Likert scale with five answer options ranging from 'strongly disagree' to 'strongly agree'
Duration
5 min
Way of administration
  • Individual and collective

Higher scores indicate a more favorable trend toward maintaining healthy behaviors (avoidance of other drug use)
