Description

Abstract

EuropASI is an instrument for assessing the severity of addiction. For this, the state of the individual is studied through seven areas (physical and mental health, employment / resources, drugs / alcohol, legal situation, family history and family / social relationships)

Psychometric characteristics

Satisfactory reports have been obtained regarding its reliability and validity. It has a high internal consistency (> .70) and discriminative capacity to detect patients with / without dependence

It consists of a severity assessment scale for the interviewer and the validition score of the information obtained, as well as another of the patient's self-assessment, which is answered on a Likert scale with five response options.
