EuropASI is an instrument for assessing the severity of addiction. For this, the state of the individual is studied through seven areas (physical and mental health, employment / resources, drugs / alcohol, legal situation, family history and family / social relationships)
Satisfactory reports have been obtained regarding its reliability and validity. It has a high internal consistency (> .70) and discriminative capacity to detect patients with / without dependence
The range of possible severity scores for each of the different problem areas ranges from 0 (absence of problem / treatment not indicated) to 9 (extreme problem / treatment absolutely necessary)
