Abstract

MEEQ evaluates personal expectations about the results of marijuana use; the beliefs regarding the use of marijuana are also evaluated, as well as, the treatment and prognosis of the dependents of this substance is valued

Psychometric characteristics

The reliability based on the Cronbach coefficient in the total scale of 78 items, was .89. The reduced scale (55 items) maintained the structure of the American version of the instrument, validated by the authors, presenting the Brazilian sample with a value of .89
