Description

Abstract

Self-administered questionnaire with 8 items in a scale of percentages that explores the user's level of self-efficacy in 8 risk situations: Trying self-control, Pleasant emotions, Unpleasant emotions, Physical need, Conflict with others, Pleasant moments with others, Social pressure.

Psychometric characteristics

It was adapted to Mexican population in 1997. The 8 categories formed a normal distribution; construct validity was adequate to correlate each category with user measures may predict relapse situations. 8 categories were reliable for heavy drinkers administered to individuals.
