Description

Abstract
It is a semi-structured interview, assessed by a trained clinician. It covers the following areas: medical, employment, drug and alcohol use, legal, family and psychiatric. It obtains life-long information and from the last 30 days.
Psychometric characteristics
Cronbach's alpha ranges from 0.64 to 0.95. Correlations between the ASI-6 and the concurrent instrument (ASSIST) range from 0.72 to 0.89. Correlations with the WHOQOL were significant.
