Abstract

This is a short version of the Alcohol Craving Questionnaire of 47 items (ACQ-NOW). Each item has a score of 7 points with extremes " totally agreemee" and "totally disagree. Each section is related to 4 factors: compulsiveness loss of control), expectation (positive reinforcement of use), purpose (intention to drink alcohol) and emotionality.

It has adequate convergent and divergent validity and internal consistency and correlation with the 47-item version.
