STAXI-2 evaluates the factors associated to the experimentation of anger, these are, experience, expression and control, as well as, establishes a differentiation by means of the disposition of two categories, that is, state and trait, for this 57 items are used in a Likert scale

Construct validity: Ira Trait - High correlation with the total scores of other scales such as Cook-Medley (.43 - .59) and Buss-Durkee (.66 - .73)
Anger State - High correlation and direct incidence in the change of behavior pattern (Kamarck, Manuck, & Jennings, 1990)
Ira Expression-Control - Significant correlations between the Expression of Anger and Anger as a Trait (.52 - .58) over the control exercised over it (.24 - .29) - No. of items

The questionnaire consists of 57 items that are answered on a Likert scale. It also consists of six scales, five subscales and an Index of Anger Expression that offers a general measure of the expression and control of anger.
