Description

Abstract

AF-5 evaluates the self-concept as a multidimensional construct through five factors; social, academic or professional, emotional, family and physical, as well as their relationship with behavior in different areas. To do this, a total of 30 items are used with five response options on a Likert scale.

Psychometric characteristics

Reliability:

Cronbach's alpha: 0.815
It is also observed that the factors are related to each other, that is, there are significant correlations between all of them, highlighting mainly the dimension of physical factor that correlates negatively with the rest

Validity:

The factors explain together 54.52% of the total variance (resulting in a value similar to that found in other studies)

No. of items
Consists of 30 items with five anser possibilities

Way of administration

Way of qualification

The response variability extends from never (1) to always (5), although in other adaptations such as the Catalan one this range has been extended (0-10) in order to be more precise in the analysis

Clinic School
Population
Adolescents (from 10 years), adults
