Esta unidad tiene como finalidad asesorar técnica y administrativamente a los centros de la Corporación que forman parte de la red de tratamiento para personas con consumo problemático de drogas de los diversos programas que desarrolla el Servicio Paz y Justicia Serpaj- Chile en diferentes puntos del país. Dichos programas responden a convenios desarrollados con organismos públicos como el Consejo Nacional para el Control de Estupefacientes, CONACE; el Fondo Nacional de Salud, FONASA; el Ministerio de Salud, MINSAL y el Servicio Nacional de Menores, SENAME, mediante los cuales, como ejecutores de política publica, se otorga atención a hombres y mujeres adultos y jóvenes infractores de ley, contemplando los nuevos estilos de consumo y la intervención de éstos en cada uno de los programas.
