El CPA ofrece tratamientos ambulatorios a personas con uso problemático de sustancias,busca construir espacios integrales e intersectoriales.Asisten fundamentalmente a la demanda espontánea y a derivaciones interinstitucionales o de personas referenciadas informalmente.Es un espacio de orientación,contención,el eje central de los tratamientos de un CPA es construir pautas de servicio que promuevan la inclusión social.

Orientar,asesorar,coordinar y promover instancias de reflexión-acción.Aportar a la construcción de alternativas para la modificación y o superación de situaciones problematicas de consumo.Fomentar,generar y potenciar procesos de organización comunitarios y/o institucionales construyendo espacios concretos y flexibles.
