- O Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Álcool e Drogas Jabaquara presta assistência integral a pessoas que fazem uso prejudicial e/ou são dependentes de álcool, tabaco e outras drogas e seus familiares.

- As práticas, na Unidade, são voltadas para minimizar as conseqüências do uso prejudicial de álcool e outras drogas visando não apenas a abstinência, mas também a redução de danos. Para isso, busca-se uma abordagem que possa dar atenção individualizada ao paciente, respeitando sempre a singularidade de cada um.

- O CAPS está localizado na Subprefeitura do Jabaquara, com extensão territorial de 14,6 km2. Possui uma população de aproximadamente 213.000 habitantes, sendo 51,5% exclusivamente usuária do SUS.
