O CAPS de Ponte Nova atende os 20 municípios da microrregião. Não há CAPS AD ativo na microrregião. Isso torna nosso CAPS 1 local de referência para acolher, atender, tratar, encaminhar e acompanhar essa demanda. Temos bons resultados, reflexos de uma boa integração e apoio dos municípios e seus serviços na microrregião de Ponte Nova. Temos realizado atividades voltadas para dependentes químicos: reuniões de grupos, oficinas, lazer, etc.

Objective of the centre/ services
1.Acompanhar os pacientes através de uma clínica ampliada, aumentando possibilidades de participação social dos mesmos, proporcionando melhora da qualidade de vida e funcionamento social e ocupacional. 2. Reabilitação psicossocial; cidadania; acompanhamentos dos familiares; basear-se nos princípios da reforma psiquiátrica; promover ações de acolhimento, tratamento e busca ativa; obter estatísticas de casos e de efetividade terapêutica.
National coverage
O nosso CAPS abrange toda a microrregião de Ponte Nova, atendendo um total de 20 município, somando se uma população de aproximadamente 210.000 habitantes.

O CAPS de Ponte Nova funciona de portas abertas, ou seja,todos que chegam ao serviço são acolhidos, avaliados, triados e encaminhados à melhor forma de tratamento. Os tratamentos no CAPS podem por regime intensivo, semi-intensivo ou não intensivo. outros são encaminhados ao PSF ou ambulatório. realizamos eventos com vistas à reinserção social e temos o jornal do CAPS como fonte de informação
