- La fundación Semillas de vida fue creada por Teresa Tamayo, Carlos Andres Gutierrez y Jhon Jairo Gutiérrez, el 01 de noviembre de 2002, los acompañaron un grupo de familiares, docentes amigos, familias de adictos y terapeutas preocupados por la situación de su localidad. Todo esto se dio como respuesta a la vocación de servicio y a el deseo de aportar un granito de arena en la rehabilitación de este tipo de personas, puesto que su fundador vivió esta problemática junto con su familia por varios años. Gracias al apoyo de sus seres queridos y al haber participado de un programa de rehabilitación en el año del 2000, lograron superar ésta problemática de adicción. Por ello quisieron contribuir a la rehabilitación y resocialización de hombres y mujeres lideres para si mismos y para la sociedad. .
