Objetivos• Atender los determinantes asociados al consumo de sustancias en la comunidad• Disminuir la prevalencia del abuso y dependencia de sustancias a través de actividades preventivas• Identificar en forma temprana a jóvenes susceptibles o vulnerables para el desarrollo del trastorno• Intervenir tempranamente para su atención a fin de que no desarrollen la enfermedad• Diagnosticar en áreas biopsicosociales a quienes padezcan la enfermedad• Detener el desarrollo de la enfermedad en fases tempranas• Brindar el apoyo necesario a las familias de pacientes con consumo experimental, abuso o dependencia
