Drug Control Secretariat (Granada)
The ‘Grenada Drug Epidemiology Network (GRENDEN) Annual Report, 2016’, highlights statistical data on the extent and nature of the drug situation in Grenada for the year 2016. It presents statistical data on areas such as drug-related arrests, seizures, court cases, incarcerations, financial crimes, treatment and rehabilitation, pharmaceuticals and controlled chemical substances, tests for the presence of drugs, criminal deportees to Grenada, and firearms, ammunition, explosives and other related materials. This data is presented in four (4) thematic areas: Drug Consumption; Drug Production; Consequences of Drugs, and Results of Policy and Program Responses. The report also presents a comparison of data for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016. It also outlines achievements of GRENDEN for the year 2016, presents summaries of qualitative studies on aspects of drugs, and sets out areas for priority action in 2017.
The European Commission is preparing a third phase of this programme, therefore COPOLAD will be back at the beginning of 2021.
