Guatemala: Nueva Política Nacional Para el Abordaje de las Drogas y Adicciones 2019-2030

The new policy replaces the 2009 document and serves to address the phenomenon of drug dependence in an updated manner. The document establishes the individual as the central axis but also defines transversal axes such as international cooperation and human rights, prioritizing traditional axes such as drug demand and supply reduction.
The European Commission is preparing a third phase of this programme, therefore COPOLAD will be back at the beginning of 2021.
