The purpose of this document is to share lessons learnt on the importance of having a national quality assurance system in place for treatment programmes and services to properly respond to this health emergency and the needs of the involved health professionals. Therefore, the guidelines include caring measures for health teams working in treatment services, patients attended and their families.
The European Commission is preparing a third phase of this programme, therefore COPOLAD will be back at the beginning of 2021.
