The new drug demand reduction strategy developed by the Government of Colombia seeks to reduce the magnitude of drug use and its adverse consequences through a coherent, systematic and sustained effort aimed at promoting healthy conditions and lifestyles, preventing drug use and caring for individuals and communities affected by drug use, accompanied by strengthening public health information and surveillance systems.
The European Commission is preparing a third phase of this programme, therefore COPOLAD will be back at the beginning of 2021.
