Abstract

SOC-30 evaluates the style of socialization perceived by the children referred to four parental practices: support, coercion, control and reprobation. To do this, 30 items are used on a Likert scale with three response options

Psychometric characteristics

Internal consistency: The values of the Alpha and Guttman Coefficients were: .852 and .869 for Spain, .805 and .744 for Colombia and .867 and .865 for Portugal

The percentage of variance explained for the total scale is: Colombia (45.02%), Spain (48.06%) and Portugal (47.76%)

It consists of 30 items (11 items corresponding to support, 7 for coercion and disapproval and 5 for control) that are answered on a Likert scale with three response alternatives ranging from 'always' (1) to 'never' (3)
