Description

Abstract

AI is an effective tool for measuring change through the assessment of assertive competences and abilities. Eight individual factors are measured through through a total of 40 items

Psychometric characteristics

The test-retest reliability coefficient of the original version was .87 for the grade of discomfort subscale and .81 for probability of response. In other studies, the factor structure obtained was consistent with the categories that make up the reagents (Castaños et al., 2010). Also, following Casas et al. (2014) adequate measures of convergent validity and divergent validity were obtained with other scales of social functioning

No. of items
The questionnaire consists of 40 items on a Likert-type scale with five answer options
Duration
10 min
Way of administration
  • Individual and collective
  • Paper
Way of qualification

Two different scores of the discomfort scale and the probability of response scale are obtained with an oscillating range between 40 and 200. Although a high score indicates greater severity of the problem, in the first scale a high score would indicate a high degree of discomfort while in the second it would indicate low probability of response

Application context
Clinic / School
Population
General population
