Description

Abstract

ENE evaluates through three dimensions (Inductive, Rigid and Indulgent) the establishment and fulfillment of the parental norms. It consists of two versions, one aimed at parents and another aimed at the perception of children on the object of measurement. For this, a total of 28 items are used on a Likert scale with five response options.

Psychometric characteristics

With respect to reliability, the internal consistency indices were the following: Factor I-parent α = .85; Factor II-parent α = .73; Factor III-parent α = .60; I-mother factor α = .80; Factor II-mother α = .72; Factor III-mother α = .64). Likewise, the indexes of homogeneity of the items were found above .40. Regarding the coefficients of internal consistency in the version for parents also showed an adequate fit (α = .68 in inductive form, α = .68 in rigid form and α = .60 in indulgent form)

No. of items
The first two factors (Inductive form and rigid form) consist of 10 items, and the third (Forgiving form) is composed of 8, on a Likert scale with five answer options that range from 'never' to 'always'
Duration
10 min
Way of administration
  • Individual and collective
