Description

Abstract

PCRI evaluates parental attitudes (differentiating between the paternal and maternal figure) towards the upbringing of children through eight factors, these are, parental social and emotional support, satisfaction with parenting, commitment, communication, discipline, autonomy, distribution of role and social desirability. For this, 78 items are used on a Likert-type scale with four response options

Psychometric characteristics

Test-retest reliability: Parental social and emotional support (.81), Satisfaction with upbringing (.73), Commitment (.87), Communication (.68), Discipline (.93), Autonomy (.78) and Distribution of the role (.89).

Internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha):
Parental Social and Emotional Support (.70), Parenting Satisfaction (.85), Commitment (.76), Communication (.82), Discipline (.88), Autonomy (.80) and Role Distribution (.75) .
