The third follow-up meeting between the Coordination, Advisory and Design levels of Activity 1.5. Enhancing the capacity of NDOs to elaborate and disseminate a Country Report on drugs, was held on 4 and 5 June, 2018, in Panama City, Panama.
The general objective of activity 1.5 is to carry out the tasks for the development of strategies to enhance the analytical capacity of NDOs for drafting comprehensive National Reports. And the specific objectives are: 1. To define alternative models of National Reports 2. To design a mechanism for the systematization of information according to the specific indicators and periodicities 3. To define strategies for dissemination according to target audience.

The activity is led by SEDRONAR, where the new threads and problems are addressed (NPS, new trafficking methods as the deep web) and methodologies; and the scope of the regional model when it comes to facing the new challenges. Progress in the qualitative and quantitative research methods are presented and the Experts’ Working Group finally review and determine the schedule ahead.
The European Commission is preparing a third phase of this programme, therefore COPOLAD will be back at the beginning of 2021.
