Celebrated from 5th to 7th November 2018 in Querétaro, Mexico, with the participation of COPOLAD. Responding to the invitation of Mexico, a COPOLAD representative attends a policy evaluation course given by the Pompidou Group. This training address the design of drug policies, examples of best practices in Europe and Latin America. Workgroups are established to discuss health promotion and prevention actions, the reduction of drug production as well as poverty reduction and social cohesion through the contribution of alternative development. It also addresses the social reintegration of the population that commits crimes related to the use of drugs. Part of the program is dedicated to the evaluation of drug policies and inter-institutional cooperation for the promotion of Human Rights. Among its objectives, it is to promote the improvement of information systems and to establish a practical instrumentation for the follow-up of the operational recommendations of the UNGASS 2016.
0.3 - Ensure visibility of COPOLAD and its activities and disseminate the contents in the main political and professional forums in the field of drug policies to be held both internationally and in CELAC.
